Holding firm to the belief that any good record has to start with a great song, Vanton have concentrated on the development of memorable hooks with meaningful lyrics that audiences relate with.

Together since February 2002 and recording at a home based studio .

Although concentrating in the main on the arrangement production and recording of the tracks, the band are a live outfit and come into their own in front of an audience.

Always building from small acorns the band’s first live performance was opening act at The King’s Head in Fulham where they have become regular favourites and went on to command the headline slot. Other London venues played include West One Four and The Bull & Gate in Kentish Town. Most recently playing DOWNSTAIRS AT THE GARAGE, one of The mean fiddler's premier venues

Now in the middle of recording their first album at such eminent studios as Olympic and Sphere in London and having Steve Mac (producer of the UK's record of the year 4 years out of the last 5) mixing the single cuts from the album, the band look set to have the success they truly deserve.
